Conference lineup Emmanuel Jal, Sudan/Kenya/UK Ishmael Beah, bestselling author, Sierra Leone/USA Jeffrey Kimathi, founder & CEO of Jamhuri Wear, Kenya/USA Jeff Koinange, journalist, Kenya Juliani, environmental activist, Kenya Emmanuel Jambo, photographer, USA/Sudan/Kenya Anne McCreath, head designer of Kikoromeo, Kenya Mark Somen, general manager of The Tribe, Kenya Mercy Murungi, producer, Kenya Julie Church, environmental scientist, Kenya Carolina Vallejo, designer, Denmark Iara Lee, filmmaker and activist, USA 1st Annual Gatwitch Festival (2010), to take place in Nairobi December 2-4, 2010, will spearhead the series of annual initiatives by Gatwitch, an international record label and production company ran by Emmanuel Jal. The festival will be the first of its kind in Africa, involving three days of live music, inspiring speeches, movie screenings and exhibits of various art forms.
