Cole Porter Festival

If you enjoy Cole Porter music, you will have a real treat this weekend. The events are sponsored by the Miami County Historical Society, Inc. The festival will kickoff with the premiere of the 7th annual Cole Porter Revue produced by Ole Olsen Memorial Theater. On Saturday, the music continues at and around the Miami County Museum with food and drink available. There will be scheduled tours of the restored birthplace, the Old Fashioned Garden and Cole's grave. An Art Show sponsored by the Miami County Artists Co-Op will be on display on the 2nd floor of the museum, along with two multimedia presentations by Charles Troy about Cole Porter-s life. Saturday evening will feature a performance at the Peru High School featuring Encore Vocal Arts from Indianapolis, IN. The Festival concludes on Sunday with a classic car show.
