About this festival
Black History Month Parade is a parade that celebrates the culture, heritage, history and accomplishments of Black Americans in the United States and across the World. The parade will feature marching bands, entertainers, dignitaries, civic groups, unions, corporate groups, entertainment and fun for the whole family. Additional festivities will include live entertainment performing modern music, live arts performers & artist, public speakers, comedians, food, beverages, art and family oriented programs. An estimated 100,000 people are expected to attend. Performers will feature acoustic, contemporary urban, soul, blues, rock, pop, jazz and modern performing artist. Speakers will consist of public icons, elected officials, community leaders, youth and other individuals that exhibit a positive image in the community.
