Mountain Makins Festival

Mountain Makins is a celebration of Appalachian Culture with juried crafts, music, foods, demonstrations, storytelling, children's activiites and more. This is the 35th annual event drawing about 6,000 people. 20 musical groups from across the region will perform on 2 stages. Dance performance on another stage. Almost 70 crafters throughout the grounds, 12 regional authors and 10 storytellers.
