Come to the Third Annual European festival from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, August 28 in beautiful Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch (9370 Ridgeline Blvd, Highland Ranch, CO, 80129). If you-re an art lover, we-ve got you covered. Is music your thing? We-ve got it. Sampling the best dishes from countries all over Europe?need I say more? You can find it all at the Euro Festival at Highlands Ranch Civic Green Park. Stroll among the booths featuring European artisans showing and selling their crafts. Savor new and interesting cuisines. Or bring a picnic lunch and relax on the grass while you watch the entertainment: singers, dancers, and instrumentalists. Tune your ears to the strumming of a balalaika or let your feet tap with the Irish step dancers. It-s just part of the European Festival experience. ?The purpose of the festival is to build bridges of understanding in a fun atmosphere,? says festival co-founder Lidia Widgery. ?This year we have over 50 vendors representing 20 European cultures for your enjoyment. Our location at Civic Green Park right behind Highlands Ranch Town Center plaza is easy to find and best of all?admission to the festival is free!? Children can participate in age-appropriate activities including art, face painting, stories and a bounce house while they gain appreciation for other cultures. This year, Ireland, Scotland, England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, and Ukraine are just some of the cultures represented.
