Leon Redbone

November 12, 2010 Bethe Woods Center for the Arts, Bethel, NY

About this festival

Leon Redbone is a distinct and recognizable popular artist who performs in a gravelly baritone with fedora, dark glasses, and a Groucho Marx moustache. Redbone is regarded as a neo-vaudeville crooner who made frequent appearances on ?Saturday Night Live.? Many know of Redbone-s artistry from his theme song for the popular ?80s sitcom Mr. Belvedere. His music is infused with ragtime jazz. Redbone-s quirky style and persona have garnered an audience base that has permitted him to tour for thirty years. Concert goers can enjoy a museum visit, dinner at the Museum Cafe and a show. The box office will sell museum tickets up to one hour prior to concert time. The museum will close 15 minutes prior to concert start time. Please note that most guests prefer to spend approximately 1.5 hours in the museum. If we have special exhibits in the lower level, please plan accordingly so you can enjoy full museum offerings.
