About this festival
One of the most acclaimed singer-songwriters of her generation, Dar Williams has been engaging audiences with her musical artistry since the early 1990s when she rose from the Northeast coffeehouse circuit to the national spotlight. Throughout her career, Williams has toured with artists such as Joan Baez, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Ani DiFranco, and Shawn Colvin.
She is a devoted activist/lobbyist for community gardening and renewable energy, and she inaugurated a program called the Echoes Initiative that allows her to formally partner with various local organizations to help raise funds and awareness for their missions.
Concert goers can enjoy a museum visit, dinner at the Museum Cafe and a show. The box office will sell museum tickets up to one hour prior to concert time. The museum will close 15 minutes prior to concert start time. Please note that most guests prefer to spend approximately 1.5 hours in the museum. If we have special exhibits in the lower level, please plan accordingly so you can enjoy full museum offerings.
