A Panel of Photojournalists Who Covered Vietnam

To conclude the Eddie Adams: Vietnam exhibit, The Museum at Bethel Woods presents a panel discussion by photojournalists who knew and worked with Eddie Adams. Hal Buell, former head of photography services at the AP, will lead the panel, which will consist of Bill Epperidge (former LIFE and Sports Illustrated photographer), Richard Pyle (AP Chief of Bureau in Vietnam) and Russell Burrows (son of LIFE photographer Larry Burrows). The panelists will describe their experiences covering the war, the role of photography in Vietnam, the camaraderie formed between the journalists, and how their experiences in Vietnam affected their lives. This will be a fitting way to conclude a powerful exhibit of the work of a great photographer and great friend.
