About this festival
Sedona-s Celebration of National Day of the Cowboy is a FREE community event on Saturday, July 24th, 2010 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm in the Main Street District, Uptown Sedona. Come enjoy ?a whole lot of cowboy goin-s on? in the midst of red rock country. There will be gunslingin-, whip crackin- and trick ropin- along with the live performances of gunfights and historical reenactments. All along the sidewalks and plazas you can enjoy these activities and more - listen to cowboy storytelling, try your hand at roping and get a lesson or two to boot, quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger, hear live country western music, view the work of cowboy artists and watch blacksmithing and saddle making, then step up for some cowboy karaoke. Come as you are or put on your western duds and celebrate our history. This event is co-presented by Sedona Main Street Program & Red Rock Western Jeep Tours
