Celebrate spring in the historic village of Amana with Maifest! The festivities start Saturday morning with Middle Mountain Madness, an off-road 5k challenge for all levels of bikers and runners. Plenty of kids- activities and the Taste of Amana Colonies & A Touch of Europe food fair follow the parade on Saturday. Maipole dancing and German folk music are offered throughout the weekend, and Saturday night is the Spring Dance at the Festhalle Barn featuring Coupe DeVille, one of the area-s premiere 50-s & 60-s dance bands.
