About this festival
Fifth annual educational Native American Pow Wow at 12513 Hwy 226 South in Spruce Pine NC. Lots of demonstrators in addition to the regular pow wow activities of dnacing, drumming, singing, story telling, flute playing, flint knapping, corn husk doll making, etc.
Hours: Friday and Saturday 9 to 9 Sunday 9 to 5.
Admission: $5 Adults $2 Kids. Friday is Kids Day and Kids are FREE with the schools.
Directions: From Asheville NC, Take I-26 north to Exit 9.
Follow US19E north 30 miles to Spruce Pine. Tunr right on Hwy 226 South 2 1/2 miles to 12513 South Hwy 226 South. (behind Music, Jewelry and Loan).
From the east take I-40 to Exit 86 and follow Hwy 226 North to Spruce Pine. When you cross under the Blue Ridge Parkway it is 2 1/2 miles on the right.
