On Easter Weekend, April 2, 3 & 4, 2010, the 8THAnnual Indian Wells Arts Festival ?where ART is a Happening! brings a splash of color to the grass promenade of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the BNP Paribas Tournament This spectacular venue transforms into an artisan village and festive outdoor marketplace uniquely showcases a wide variety of contemporary and traditional fine art and high quality craft. From paintings to glistening jewelry, stately bronze sculptures and fanciful glass creations to pastels, photography, apparel and much much more! The Indian Wells Arts Festival is ranked one of the 100 Best Fine Art Shows in the country by Sunshine Artist magazine Easter Sunday morning features an ?Eggs in The Garden? brunch menu until noon, along with musical entertainment and festivities for all ages. Enjoy glass blowing, monumental rock carving, sand sculpture, mural painting, pottery and weaving demonstrations daily. Live entertainment, refreshment, wine tasting and more! The festival takes place Friday through Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm (Gates close at 4:30).
