Fit City

Celebrate fitness, health and wellness in Scottsdale at the 2nd annual Fit City Scottsdale Kickoff! The event will offer programs, events and activities for all ages. Take part in the first FIT CITY SCOTTSDALE 5 k run and visit numerous booths with lots of fitness opportunities for everyone. TEAMPLAY USA will offer youth games, Scottsdale Police Officers will be on hand to collect expired and/or unwanted prescription and over the counter drugs for disposal, as well as fingerprinting for childrens' safety. The Fire Department will provide a "tot trot" obstacle course, we will have fitness demonstrations, and residents will be able to sample healthy foods from local restaurants. The Kickoff takes place on the Civic Center Mall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Boulevard, from 9am to 3pm. Saturday, Jan. 23. Visit www.FitCityScottsdale.org for all the details.
