A Special Evening with Yo-Yo Ma: Lecture and Solo Performance

Eastern Music Festival and the Bryan Series present Yo-Yo Ma in a special bonus lecture on Monday, October 26, at 7:30pm at War Memorial Auditorium. Yo-Yo Ma will talk about his life and career and also play an unaccompanied musical selection. Mr. Ma-s visit will be a historic moment and milestone in the Triad-s cultural history. He appeared as a 23-year-old guest artist at Eastern Music Festival in 1978 and has gone on to perform all over the world?including at this year's Presidential inauguration?and win more than 15 Grammy Awards.
