A Companion Animal Event.
Ohio Basset Rescue and Labrador Retriever Rescue of Cincinnati are hosting River Downs PetPalooza at River Downs on September 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. River Downs PetPalooza is dedicated to the rescue, adoption and well-being of companion animals ? canine, feline, equine and other mammals, reptile, fish and avian.
he main event is the Pledge Walk where walkers and their pets can enjoy a walk around the River Downs turf track to raise money for rescue, with prizes awarded to participants who have raised the most money in pledges. We also have many other activities planned, including:

Costume contest and parade
Games
Over 60 vendors and rescues
Several demonstrations by local animal organizations.
