About this festival
The Uptown Getdown was created to showcase the Uptown Utica District, the New Uptown Theatre, local artists and musicians, show classic movies, give access to independent films from Albany to Utica, and bring in a tasty food vendor all in one location on the same day. All three theatres and the lobby will be full for eight hours. Independent Films, Ghostbusters, Caddyshack, 6 musical acts, an art show, and Burrito Jonz as a food vendor will be all to your enjoyment.
