Upper Kennebec Valley River Festival

The 2nd Annual Upper Kennebec Valley River Festival will be held July 29th through August 2nd, 2009. The Festival is an event that encompasses the UKV River Corridor from Solon through Moscow and beyond. The center of activities will take place along Main Street Bingham and various Organizations locations along this route. Events this year will include Crafters displaying and selling their wares, Concert in the Park, Pie eating contest, Bike Races, Carnival games, Demonstrations from area and state-wide artisans and organizations, baked bean supper, street dance, Saturday parade, Bingo, the Wyman Lake Fishing Derby all day Saturday, August 1st, Beauty Pageant and Fisherman's Sunday, Sunday August 2nd, and many other events and displays for the entire family to enjoy.. Also, The New Veteran's Mobile Medical Unit and Combat Veterans Mobile Support Unit will be on display.
