Uptown Sedona Celebration of National Day of the Cowboy

National Day of the Cowboy Celebration in Uptown Sedona is a FREE community event on Saturday, July 25th, 2009 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm in the Main Street District along State Route 89A and Jordan Road. Come enjoy ?a whole lot of cowboy goin-s on? in the midst of red rock country. It all begins with a Cowboy Parade down Jordan Road. Gunfights start at High Noon as part of live performances non-stop at Cowboy Plaza, including a champion gunslinger and a champion trick roper! Along Main Street sidewalks and plazas you-ll find live western music, cowboy artists and western trades and crafts demonstrations. You can even try your hand at riding a mechanical bull.
