About this festival
The Columbia Gorge Bluegrass Festival invites a unique blend of the best in bluegrass talent to our stage, making it one of the best Bluegrass events in the Northwest. Long-time fans return each year to celebrate the Thursday Night Jammers Jamboree, Friday’s Old Timey Dance, and Saturday’s Country Dance. The event features instrument competitions, workshops, and jamming on the campgrounds morning, noon, and night. What makes a bluegrass festival unique is that most participants not only love to listen to their favorite genre of music, but can also play it! Indeed, during our 4 day celebration, our property is thick with fiddles, banjoes, guitars, mandolins, basses, and an occasional dobro. What makes our bluegrass festival unique is the beautiful back drop of the Columbia River Gorge, and the friendly small town atmosphere our close knit community provides. It is impossible to miss the sheer enthusiasm that bonds our visitors to this extraordinary musical experience.
