About this festival
?Silverdale Whaling Days" generates fun-loving crowds over 50,000 people every summer on the last full weekend of July. This year-s July 24th through 26th festival promises to be larger and better than ever, so come on down to Silverdale Waterfront Park in "Old Town' and enjoy the fun.
West Sounds largest summertime festival, ?Silverdale "Whaling Days" . The annual festival brings you a weekend of free and affordable family fun: great musical entertainment, variety of food concessions, the world famous beer garden, and an incredible fireworks display (Friday night, 10:00 PM), ?Whale of a Run- (Saturday, 8:45 AM), Silverdale-s Whaling Days Lions Grand Parade (Saturday morning, 10:00 AM) organized by the Silverdale Dandy Lions Club and a fantastic Kids Area with Davis Amusement Carnival rides (starts Thursday). Check out the variety of craft and information booths. Start out the day early on Sunday morning with ?Tour de Kitsap- (Bike Ride, 7:00 AM), a chance to compete in outrigger canoe races (Sunday, 8:00 AM) and later in the day- the exciting "Great Kitsap Duck Race"(Sunday, 3:00 PM).
